Large format bottles are a truly special addition for any collector or individual looking to have a larger gathering of friends and family.  Large formats are limited to bottles rather than cases.  They also tend to age much more slowly than their smaller 750 ml format bottles and hence can be enjoyed long after the others have sold out.
