We’re excited to give you a first look at an exclusive opportunity to enjoy our wines in a way that no one else can.
Wetzel Estate is hosting a private barrel-tasting event to provide the opportunity to taste and purchase futures of individual barrel lots. We will take a tour through our barrel room and taste individual barrels selected by the winemakers for this exclusive event.
After 24 months in barrels, the 2022 Wetzel Estate Pinot Noir is nearly ready for blending and bottling. Join our winemaker during the process of selecting the best barrels from this wonderful vintage.
Explore our terroir by tasting wines made from four different blocks of our estate vineyard. Each barrel you will taste was made from grapes grown in a different section of the vineyard. We will discuss the differences in soil, vine age, clones, and rootstock (or lack thereof!) that exist in our diversely planted vineyard.
You will learn about the specifics of our various blocks while enjoying delectable appetizers and more of your favorite wines.
We will also do a side-by-side tasting of older French oak vs our new one-of-a-kind German oak barrels.
You will then have the opportunity to purchase, by the case, individual barrel lots. Once the wine is bottled, you will be notified by our staff that the wine is ready for pick up. These will be single-clone wines selected out before they’re blended into our signature Wetzel Estate bottling.
This rare opportunity means you can secure cases of these exceptional, small-lot wines at a significantly discounted price—but once this window closes, these single-barrel wines will never be available again.
