We will take a tour through our barrel room and taste individual barrels selected by the winemakers for this exclusive event.\nAfter 24 months in barrels\, the 2022 Wetzel Estate Pinot Noir is nearly ready for blending and bottling. Join our winemaker during the process of selecting the best barrels from this wonderful vintage.\n\nExplore our terroir by tasting wines made from four different blocks of our estate vineyard. Each barrel you will taste was made from grapes grown in a different section of the vineyard. We will discuss the differences in soil\, vine age\, clones\, and rootstock (or lack thereof!) that exist in our diversely planted vineyard.\nYou will learn about the specifics of our various blocks while enjoying delectable appetizers and more of your favorite wines.\nWe will also do a side-by-side tasting of older French oak vs our new one-of-a-kind German oak barrels.\n\nYou will then have the opportunity to purchase\, by the case\, individual barrel lots. Once the wine is bottled\, you will be notified by our staff that the wine is ready for pick up.
